RenaSan Antiseptic Ear Drops is a clinically proven formula for the disinfection of ears of all animal species. It should also be used for the disinfection of minor wounds in and around ears. RenaSan contains the active ingredient synthesised hypochlorous in a saline solution. Hypochlorous is produced in all humans and animals and is the body’s own biocide. Clinically proven to kill 99.9999% of bacteria, virus, fungi and yeast on contact, it is also completely benign to animal tissue as hypochlorous is part of their bodies. Approved for veterinary use: RenaSan hypochlorous products are approved for veterinary (and human) use under the UK and EU Biocidal Products Regulations EU 528 (2012). This approval means every element of the product has been independently tested for safety and efficacy (effectiveness). Our hypochlorous products are in use daily in veterinary surgeries as well as livestock and poultry farms around the UK and worldwide. Directions for use: Apply liberally to ear canal until the liquid is visible and massage the base of the ear for 30 seconds, then allow pet to shake its head. Use two or three times daily or as recommended by your veterinarian. Can also be used for weekly ear maintenance and as a preventative after swimming. If there is excessive wax in the ear remove it carefully with a pet ear finger pad soaked in RenaSan. This will allow RenaSan to disinfect the skin more effectively.
